Gabriella D'Anton

Gabriella D’Anton is the name I use as a skin care specialist, licensed both in Europe and the United States.

My experience in the beauty industry is extensive; I have been in practice for over 20 years, but most importantly I kept up with the progresses and all the new discoveries in the field of skin care through continuous education and permanent up-dating of knowledge (trade shows, specialty magazines, attendance of seminars and lectures offered by professional skin care companies, etc)

Born and educated in Romania, I came to the United States in 1979 and started my own practice as a skin care specialist in 1983.

Following the Romanian tradition and philosophy of Dr. Ana Aslan (the world renowned pioneer of anti-aging medical and beauty treatments) I am equally interested in solving skin problems (in a personal face-to-face, client/aesthetician relationship) as well as sharing my knowledge with a larger audience. Recently I finished writing the book “The road to beauty”

Forced by circumstances I had to “reinvent” myself when I come to United States without speaking a single word of English.

I am trained as a journalist and have a master in linguistics. 8 of my books have been published after the collapse of communism and for over 2 years I had two weekly columns in Romanian news papers. Petra Vlah is how most people know me in the literary world
